1) Keep it simple. Just keep reminding yourself that the purpose of a reboot is to jettison dead weight, and don’t feel obliged to bring in all the extra crud about Trade Federations and midichlorians. There’s the Empire, and the Rebellion, and the Force has two sides: light and dark.
