NaNoWriMo – Progress!
I have been writing fast and furious. Pushing myself and my caffeine limits. Since Monday I have written just over 14,000 words. Not bad. Considering I was at 17,000 and change on Monday, I have nearly doubled my output. I need to keep up the furious pace if I intend to his the 50,000 word mark by midnight on November 30Th. It will probably be midnight!
Some people at the NaNoWriMo site have already been declared “winners” and completed their 50,000 counts. I saw one person with a count of over 73,000. Wow.
I am hoping to do some spring board type sessions over the next few days, today included. The hope is a thirty minute writing session followed by ten minute sit and ponder the universe break and then another thirty minute session. If I can do three of those groups a day (morning, afternoon and night) I should be OK. The night ones may stretch on as I have no limit on the back end, but I do like to stop for a bit after half an hour or so. My poor wrists! Oddly it is the middle finger on my right hand that bothers me. And no, it is not from flipping off the computer screen.
