Michael Chabon wins the Nebulla

Over the weekend the Nebulla’s were handed out and Michael Chabon’s The Yiddish Policemen’s Union won Best Novel. The book is also a finalist for the Edgar, a mystery award. I love genre mingling!

I know there is talk that the Cohen brothers are involved with a film version.

Michael Chabon has also released his first non-fiction work, called Maps and Legends. It is a whole work of essays defending and deconstructing the limitations and “guttering” of genre fiction.
