Birthday Dinner at Iron Hill
For my birthday, Catherine and I went to Iron Hill. YUMMY!

I had a $25 credit from their mug club and we also had a $25 American Express gift card. Makes dinner very nice when the total cost out of pocket is $20.
I enjoyed a Delmonico Steak with horseradish mashed potatoes and Catherine had the Pork Tenderloin, which she though was over spiced. I thought it yummy, but it was done up with holiday spices and that could be off putting if you are not looking for that.
On the beer front, I had a large mug of their Pumpkin Ale. Made with pumpkin pie filling, it is a smooth sweet pumpkin ale, verses the spicey ones, say from Weyerbacher. I also had their American Ale on Nitro since their cask was broken
It was very velvety that way and quite enjoyable.
We took a growler of their Oktoberfest Pilsner home, which is waiting patiently for this evening.
One thing that was nice about the evening was the couple next to us. A gentleman there celebrating his 60th with his daughter. It was also his birthday, and he also had a bitchin’ name - Dave. Very cool.
And Iron Hill gives you a free desert if it is your birthday
Makes it that much more yummy.
[I just went and read this and realized I used "yummy" four times. That is what you get when you are writing and interrupted by the phone]

November 2nd, 2007$70 at Iron Hill, nice! Normally I go with the reserved outlook: salad, pizza, or a sandwich and two beers, which comes out closer to $20. I haven’t had a full on Iron Hill experience in a while.
Tonight the Wilmington location is haveing a Mug Club party from 7-9. Free 2oz samples of Bottled IH Beer and $3 reserve mugs (Hopkowski, Oaked Fe10, and Bourbon Porter), and free appatizers.
Mug Club party on Friday, Victory on Saturday - my liver will be happy this weekend.
