Web 2.0 approved header

I have updated the header to have the cool reflection fade thing. How very Web 2.0. I also realigned the quotes to the right of it and “de-bolded” the font (is that even close to a word?).

Here it is for you to stare at with great enjoyment (translated via babelfish)

I like the new header. It’s crisp, and colorful.

If “de-bolded” isn’t a word yet, it should be. It’s far less clumsy than “anti-bolded”, and more descriptive than “un-bolded”…

  2. I think the “G” should be smaller, but other then that it looks really cool.

I was going to use a lower case G but it hangs below the “line” – as it should – and it makes having a reflection odd. I like the disproportion letters, as it is a “logo” per se. I know you like mono-space fonts. the anal engineering part of you kicking in about all the things being equal. But then it would not be fun :)

de-bold: v. to remove bold from a series of words or type.
anti-bold: n. 1 – the act of protesting boldness, specifically in typefaces
un-bold: n. a font that is bland, that even when bolded – looks lame.
    ;)

  5. I do understand what you mean about the “line” and the reflection. It’s just the balance side of my brain going wonky.
