I have had the new IPA as well and liked it. According to Lindsey (the waitress mentioned above) Brooklyn just added a new bottling line and tanks, thus their ventures into “big beer” land. She got to go to the brewery as a result of Blue Dog’s relationship with Brooklyn.

I got to try this one at the Philadelphia Beer Festival, it was good, but 2oz. wasn’t enough to get a true feel for it. Brooklyn STILL is a brew-to-recipe kind of brewery, BUT they have started a “big beer” series which are great, the trick is finding them. I have tried there new IPA, the Chocolate Stout and the Local 1 from the big beers and they’re really good.

Again, I hate you. I am now drinking the La Chouffe by myself. Of course this comes from trying so many “not great” beers lately.
