Book Review: The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon
It is as Amazing as you have heard…….
On New Year’s Eve I finished The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay after too long of letting it sit on the end table. Life gets in the way.
Regardless, it is as amazing as you have heard. This book was a knockout. The writing is so vivid and the metaphor and colors used are alive. The prose dances on the page and the characters could walk right out of the book.
Really – it is that good. I regret holding off reading it.
A short review but the book is so good – just read it. Also , synopsis are available everywhere.
On a side note – there has been talk of this as a film for some time. Here is one site that recaps a lot of that progress. That same site has a huge amount of information.
Little disapointed…..Scooter would have a 10 pg “Mini Review” with several links to other reviews as well as two or three links to fan clubs of the book……
