Williamsburg Brewing Company
I was exploring an online site and found a tid bit of information. Looks like the Williamsburg Brewing Co has gone out of business. At least, has stopped production. I hope this is a case of relocating, which he did mention when we were down there in August.
Every year we go to Williamsburg as part of the “Bachochin experience”. Every year we go to the Williamsburg Brewing Co and make sure to stock up.
This is very unfortunate though he did suggest that he was looking at another or second location as he could not keep up with demand. Perhaps he is sick of the hours he has to put it. The brewer (whose name I cannot remember at present) was always patient and happy to show you around the place.
I hope this is not a case of AB (the evil one) swallowing up his business but rather a case of supply and demand and just a temporary pause in his brewing.

November 22nd, 2005I saw that too about a week ago, and figured with the way it is worded that it was indeed a relocation. Like you said, I hope my preminition is true.

Williamsburg Brewing Co. went out of business July-Aug 05.
Williamsburg AleWerks has occupied the old WBC site and will be operational this Spring.
