Daniel Craig - new James Bond — Again?
As I reported back in April; it looks like Daniel Craig will be the next James Bond. I am ok with it. I like the idea of an actor not bigger than the character. If he becomes famous because of the part, more power to him!
Let’s see what happens Bond Fans as they go back to the first Bond story Casino Royale.
UPDATE It’s official. The worst kept rumor in Hollywood is confirmed. Daniel Craig is James Bond. You can watch the CNN Video clip and see the typical media stuff that does not include footage of the press conference.

October 13th, 2005I think he can pull it off. That story is great, and I really hope they stick to the feel of that, as much as they can, without making it all hip and modern.
It would be really great if they took things retro. I personally feel that Bond belongs in the era he started in, and even if they changed actors, they should have always stuck with the right timeframe.
I’d rather see Bond back as the uber-pimp that manages to get the mission done in between birds. That probably sounds really chauvanistic, but Bond’s not about being PC. Give me the Walther and Aston Martin…
