5 tales read by 5 different actors results in a pretty good “read”.

This is another selection from the local libray and overall, I really enjoyed it with the Dark Tower story being the original draw. I was pleasently surprised at the others and how much I enjoyed them.
All the stories in this audio collection (except one) are really strong ones and that off course help this audio to being as enjoyable as it is. The best of the five is Autopsy Room Four read by Oliver Platt. He is perfect for this story and he really makes you feel how it would be to end up in the situation that Howard Cottrell finds himself in. Flung up on an autopsy table, feeling the cutters at your belly and not being able to move…not a very pleasant feeling. I also really like when he sings like The Rolling Stones, which is worth the money this audio costs alone, really hilarious.
To summarize my feelings of this audio I would like to recommend you to check it out even if you don’t like audios, which I know many don’t. It’s worth giving a chance. The stories on this audio all qualify for being read and listen to out load and they are fairly short so you won’t have to set aside to much time if you don’t want. It really makes a difference when you hear someone else read a story and not read it yourself and this time the difference is good!

1It sounds like one I am going to want to check out. By the way, where is the library again?
On a side note, I never knew Oliver Platt was a Canadian Detroiter.
