We go ridin’ the rails on a beautiful Sunday.

Yesterday we decided we needed something to do outside and something that is not an everyday “thing”. The park? no - to normal. The zoo? - no - too crowded. How about the railroad? - YEAH!

We ventured forth to the New Hope & Ivyland railroad. The day was beautiful and the sky a crystal blue. We packed a picnic lunch and headed over. After some traffic in New Hope (to be expected) we arrived and settled in. After eating our lunch the train pulled up. We boarded the train and off we went for a 45 minute trip through 8 miles of Bucks County. We had a great time and I am glad we made the trip. It could be a lot of fun to have one of their dinner train rides some time. mmm….maybe one day
