This afternoon we went to see Robots. Overall, a stunning film to watch, not so much a film to enjoy. This film is dazzling to look at. It may be the most robust animated (computer that is) film I have ever seen. The robots look great - the character developers deserve a lot of credit. unfortunately, the story writers need to be sent for a re-write. The film lacks seriously in the story line. We could have gotten a lot more with about 5-10 minutes more focused writing and character development. It would have made a real difference.

When it comes out on DVD, rent it. It looks amazing. Seriously, this is one sharp film. Here are some screen shots for the “look”
