Today I had my preliminary interview with Law Firm. I think it went well. I interviewed with an IT person and an HR person, both of whom were nice. I did not get asked any real technical questions in a sense of “what would you do in this situation” kind of things. I was asked about familiarity with certain software packages and for the most part was very comfortable with their questions.

On the side note of their “package” - they offer health care (health, vision & dental), a transportation reimbursement that goes up with time - starting at 3 months a 401k. Seems decent. I made a point of saying that I needed to bring home the same size paychecks so whatever needed to be altered in the grand scheme to compensate for city taxes and whatnot.
