It looks like a new face will be joining her majesty’s secret service. Quoting from EW
“That’s it,” Brosnan told EW.com. “I’ve said all I’ve got to say on the world of James Bond.”
In an interview on the magazine’s Web site, posted Tuesday, the Irish-born actor said 2002’s “Die Another Day” was his last mission on her majesty’s secret service.
“Bond is another lifetime behind me,” Brosnan said.
But this could be a Sean Connery-style move, the big bucks could draw him back.
In the CNN article they name a whole grocery list of replacements :

- Hugh Grant
- Gerard Butler
- Jude Law
- Ewan McGregor
- Hugh Jackman
- Heath Ledger
- Eric Bana
Personally – of that list – almost all of them are TOO YOUNG. Bond has gotta be about 40. You can’t just get to “Double 0″ status with a college degree. I like Colin Firth the best of the list.

Orlando Bloom is to play a young James Bond in a new film about the secret agent’s early years.According to The Evening Standard the British actor has been signed by Miramax to star in the movie, about Bond’s college days after being expelled from Eton.
Orlando was rumoured to be taking over the role of James Bond from Pierce Brosnan in the next film due out next November.
Bond producers are said to be looking for a new leading man and Orlando has been tipped for the part-Article Link
This is pretty dumb if you ask me. Looks like someone is trying to cash in. This will tarnish the entire history. Why not just bring back the James Bond Jr cartoon!
